Take your paper turn long ways put paper in trimmer @ 1 1/2" cut from 2" down to 10" take paper out turn repeat the cutting and it should look like this

This is card base once you add all pieces to it which are:
front base of card is 4" x 5 1/2" you adhere to the left panel, only adding glue to the left half of paper
top & bottom pieces you will need 6 cut @ 1 1/4" x 1 3/4"
middle panels you will need 3 cut @ 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" here I opted to add mine own creation which I used a 2" x 2" paper round the edges added my sentiment

Tri-Shutter Fold Birthday Card

I made this card for my daughter's 18th birthday she thought it was cool.  For this card, you could make without your cricut but I choose to opt in some images that I used my cricut which is optional. You can decorate it with the embellishments of your choice to make it your very own. This is my first tri-shutter fold card so I want to keep it simple, but I know I will try it again adding more embellishments.
To begin you will need a piece of card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 12"
Score @ 2" 4" 8" and 10" Line your paper vertically(long ways) in trimmer @ 1 1/2" cut from first score line 10" cut down to 2" Move paper over to 4" cut from 2" to 10"
 Fold your score lines

This is what you base should look like

This was inspired by youtube channel Yolibean

Using the Sweethearts cartridge
on an 8 1/2 x 11" on page 72 scallop heart blackout feature choose fit to page this will give you 8" cut 3 times using red cardstock
then cut a regular heart on same page out @ 8"using pink cardstock
decorate your pink heart I used a heart stamp doing the stamp on stamp off technique then I used another stamp with "love" to create conversation hearts
